Gold Demand Probable to Remain Low Thanks to No Big Occasions

goldNew Delhi, Thursday, July 16 – Demand for yellow metal during peak wedding season increases but this hasn’t been seen often this year. Given that several couples tie the wedding knot when marriages are on the cards, buyers usually swarm bullion market.

However, decrease in demand or lukewarm response from the customer towards the gold ornaments and bars in the past few months is beyond one’s understanding.

The key reason that is considered affecting selling of gold is falling faith of people buying the precious metal, which was considered a good investment some time ago. Jewelers mentioned that customers would usually place inquiry how gold be beneficial in the long run but same practice is not seen frequently. Rise in number of shoppers can be expected only in the final quarter, when most of the Indian festivals fall.

Placing order for rings, necklaces, bangles will improve selling of gold but it is a big question in front of traders when the yellow metal regain shine. An all of a sudden decline in demand has forced many jewelers to focus on selling silver trinkets and imitation jewelries that come at a low price as compared to gold items.
